Cake Pop Order

Here was my first ever Cake Pop Order. She needed them to be very simple and wanted just a chocolate theme. It was for her birthday so she wanted 31 cake pops and the rest to be cake balls instead of on a stick to represent her age. The cake pops are chocolate cake dipped in milk and white chocolate, drizzled in dark, milk and white chocolate. I was really happy with how this batch turned out.

Final Cake Class

I am done!! I have finished all 3 levels of the Wilton Cake Decorating classes!! Whew, 3 months later. Also of people have said this cake looks like an old ladies hat.. I think it just because of the cake board it is sitting on haha. The flowers are made out of gum paste with edible glitter centers.

Sun Flower CupCakes

Here are my Sun Flower Cupcakes. It is Chocolate cake with Butter Cream Icing. I made the Sun Flower out of an Orea and the lady bug using a smarite!! This was my attempt to brighten the moods of people at work during a long winter season!

Christmas CupCakes

I made some more Christmas Cupcakes for work. These ones were for my Team Christmas lunch. They were soo yummy!!! I made Vanilla with Blueberry filling and frosting, as well as some that were Chocolate with Strawberry filling and frosting. I cant wait to experiment with more flavors and frosting. I have so many ideas, but not enough time to make them all. Also I need volunteer taste testers haha.

Christmas Cake Pops

I made these Snowman and Christmas Tree cake pops for a Christmas function at work. I made about 80 of them and they were all gone within 20 minutes. The Snowman heads were Vanilla cake with an Oreo and marshmallow hats. The Christmas trees were Chocolate cake dipped in green candy coating. The faces were really hard to do on the snowman heads. I tired to use an edible marker but those didn't work so well, so instead I used chocolate on a toothpick. I think next time I will try to pipe the faces on instead.

Christmas Cake

I took a four hour course on making fondant figures. It was alot of fun and the four hours went by so fast. Im hoping to make different figures soon. This was my first time ever using fondant to make figures or even to cover a cake. I think it turned out pretty well :)

Cream Filled Cupcakes!! Yummm...

I made these cupcakes to take to my sister's Christmas get together.. They were Vanilla with blueberry cream filling.. YUMMMMM.....

The cupcakes did not fill up with as much filling as I had hoped with this batch. The batch below turned out REALLY well... These were still very yummy.....

This is my Chocolate Raspberry cupcake with Rasberry cream filling. They turned out super moist and very yummy!!!! It was hard to eat only one!!!! :) They were a HUGE hit at Jordans work that day!!!

Jordans Birthday and Welcome Home Cake!

With Jordan coming home after being away for 4 months and also celebrating his 26th birthday I couldn't just make an ordinary cake. He had not seen or tired my cake pops before since he was away when I started to experiment with them so I knew right away that I would be making them. However his favorite cake is Strawberry Shortcake and I wasn't sure I could make those into cake pops so I also wanted to make him that kind of cake. This is what I came up with. It is a Strawberry Shortcake covered in whip cream with Vanilla flavored Cake pops. I added chocolate covered strawberries to the sides as well as some toy footballs.

Office Party Cake Pops

I made these cake pops for this girl at my work. I tired to make a few look like flowers by using jelly beans and smarties. Each batch makes about 45-50 pops. Each cake pop would cost about approx $1.50-$2 depending on the detail required. They are a lot of fun to make, however take along time, approx 2-3 hour process.
