Jordans Birthday and Welcome Home Cake!
With Jordan coming home after being away for 4 months and also celebrating his 26th birthday I couldn't just make an ordinary cake. He had not seen or tired my cake pops before since he was away when I started to experiment with them so I knew right away that I would be making them. However his favorite cake is Strawberry Shortcake and I wasn't sure I could make those into cake pops so I also wanted to make him that kind of cake. This is what I came up with. It is a Strawberry Shortcake covered in whip cream with Vanilla flavored Cake pops. I added chocolate covered strawberries to the sides as well as some toy footballs.
Office Party Cake Pops
I made these cake pops for this girl at my work. I tired to make a few look like flowers by using jelly beans and smarties. Each batch makes about 45-50 pops. Each cake pop would cost about approx $1.50-$2 depending on the detail required. They are a lot of fun to make, however take along time, approx 2-3 hour process.
My Cake Class Final Cakes
So here are the cakes i have made for my cake classes. The first on is my basket weave cake. It was actually much easier to do than it looks. I wasn't too happy with the flowers on the top but this cake was more just to practice the basket weave. The second cake is just a happy cupcake design cake. This cake was just to practice using a template and piping gel. The 3rd cake is my Halloween cake. It was supposed to look like Frankenstein but more people said it looked like Oscar the grouch!! haha. Oh well.....

Birthday Cake Pops
Here they are again!!! 2 weeks later and I made another batch, however these have a purpose! I made them for Jordan's mom's birthday! This batch is vanilla cake with colored sprinkles. I dipped half in white chocolate and the other in milk chocolate. I did some with sprinkles and some drizzled with the opposite colored chocolate. You can really make these with any kind of cake you would like and you can dip them in any kind of chocolate and any color of candy coating too!!! They are so yummy, and people are still asking me to make them again for them!!!! I can't wait to make my next batch! What will they be???
Cake Pops!!!
I saw these on a website and thought they were just too cool and had to make them! I didn't make them for any purpose except that I just wanted to try them! They aren't the best looking things, however it was only my first attempt but I'm still pretty happy with how they turned out! I used chocolate cake for this batch, covered half with milk chocolate and the other with purple candy coating, and sprinkles! They are very yummy and didn't last very long people could never just eat one. Hopefully with practice I can make them look better and better each time!
Red 50 Sucks!!
Here is another suckers bouquet I made for another woman at work. It costed about $60 to make. Her friend was turning 50 and she wanted something different to give to her, as well as share at her party! She wanted all red because that was her friends favorite color. It can be a little to find a large amount of suckers in one color, that are also different. But once we found them it all came together nicely! I was told it was a huge hit at the party!
